Social Security Hearings
– request a hearing
If your request for reconsideration is denied, you will be notified by mail and will have 60 days to appeal. This is not the time to give up! The next step is the third appeal to request a hearing with an administrative law judge (ALJ).
How I can help
Many people are intimidated by the idea of talking to a Judge about their impairments and why they are unable to work, which is why it is important to have an experienced social security attorney on your side. The Judge listening to your claim will make a decision based on all the evidence in your file, going back to what was filed at the initial application level. There are legal issues involved with whether disability is awarded, it is more than a question of whether or not a person is able to work. This is why having an expert attorney on your side from the initial application through the hearing is crucial to success.
